We allow this to happen

Yet we have the power to

Change it.

We have the ability to reject the

Norms,

Reconstruct the rules,

Break the social constraints,

And turn society on its side

To show both ourselves and others

A new perspective.

Look at it

Upside-down,

Sideways,

Horizontal,

Vertical,

Backwards,

Forwards.

Engage in the living and the breathing

Around yourself,

Whether it be human connection

Or natural wilderness.

Don’t let yourself suffocate

From the stagnant routine of

The bruised and beaten acceptable

Life,

But instead inhale a fresh breath

Of a new personal reality.

The holes and emptiness will

Repair themselves simply

By the pure magic and wonders

Of your body.

But you must grant it

Validation

And rewire your thinking patterns,

Committing to a life of new vision.
